Last month I was invited to the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Snowdonia. It’s a super stylish hotel with stunning amenities and a super modern touch. The hotel itself is nestled between the rugged mountains of Snowdonia and does so quietly without spoiling the landscape. The use of welsh slate and natural colours on the outer shell of the hotel mimics the awe-inspiring nature around it and you know what? It really works!

I’ve previously rated the Leeds Dakota Deluxe as one of my favourite hotels to date so when I was asked for a little stop over at the brand new Dakota in Manchester I jumped at the chance… and obviously, with the precedent already set at the Leeds hotel, I was ready to compare and critique! Rudding Park Spa soars high above all expectations, so much so that even the 5 star reviews I was reading through before I arrived (I have a habit of doing that) didn’t actually do it justice. This place is a pure delight. In short, it’s gorgeous, the staff are world-class, it’s ridiculously clean and the facilities they have are the best I’ve ever , EVER, experienced!

All it took was a short journey west on the M62 winding up and through the Pennines and we had arrived. Oddfellows on the Park is a luxury boutique hotel and spa situated in the middle of a park in Chester and I couldn’t wait to stay!
The team at Oddfellows had very kindly invited me over for an extravagant night’s sleep to showcase everything the hotel had to offer. I’ve actually been needing a relaxing trip away so this came at the perfect time and I jumped at the offer.
